Katie Dimmer, Alice Johnson, Diane Tyrell and Harper VanDonkelaar were all presented Kindness Matter Awards at May 1’s Board of Education Meeting for their dedication to making the community a better place.

The Walled Lake Consolidated Schools’ Board of Education appointed Kelly Smith the new principal at Oakley Park Elementary during the May 23, 2024 meeting.

Five elementary and two middle school students will compete in the Oakland Schools Scripps Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday at Oakland University.

Oakley Park Elementary's Mr. B had to pay up on Thursday after his fifth grade students reached their goal for this year's annual fall mum sale.
